Stereograph films

Given our reading on stereographs this week, I thought I'd share some movies made from stereographs. Ken Jacobs is an filmmaker who has done a lot of experimenting with 3D effects, including playing around with old stereographs in a moving image context.

'Capitalism: Slavery' is a short movie that demonstrates the basic concept.
'Capitalism: Child Labor' is longer but plays around with the images to produce weirder effects (this one basically resembles 'Capitalism: Slavery' but gets interesting around 3 minutes in).
'The Surging Sea of Humanity' takes a different approach, but is not lacking in weird effects.
