Magnum Collection Assignment

I really don't have a firm understanding of what documentary photography is, but I figured it had something to do with documenting things, as the name states. I feel like that could be a multitude of things. I wanted to find a photo that documented people at an event. When I saw this goat being the Karl Wallenda of goats, I knew this was the photo I wanted to post. I didn't know a circus was supposed to include a tightrope walking goat. From the looks of the audiences faces they did know about tightrope walking goats and they are not impressed. Regardless of the audiences' feelings I'm glad this part of a Chinese circus was documented by Eve Arnold.
