I was just looking into the The Lens Media Laboratory last semester for my preservation class. It is really interesting new project that describes itself as "a new research facility that will apply scientific principles to the characterization and conservation of photographs and other lens-based media." I would be interested in knowing if they decide to go with the inert glass enclosures and what that actually looks like.
